Small Pearly Kowhai in the Wind earrings

Tiny freshwater pearls are used to create a miniature, dark, oxidized version of this distinctive pattern. The Kowhai, a little legume tree indigenous to New Zealand, served as the inspiration for the topic. Each pair is created independently, and no two are same. Every leaf and segment is made by hand from genuine sterling silver; they are textured, hammered, pierced, drilled, and soldered.
