Greek designer Elsa has been inspired by the natural world and its myriad connections ever since she was young. This fascination took her down an artistic route, and she studied graphic design in Athens. Her studies prompted a move to Los Angeles, where she continued learning at the Art Centre in Pasadena. Whilst doing so, she enrolled in a jewellery course, paving the way for the creation of ‘Elsa Mouzaki Jewellery’ in 2000. Now based once again back in Athens, Elsa’s jewellery is showcased in stores all over Greece and beyond.
When designing, Elsa takes inspiration from the world around her; from her travels, to botanical forms, to architecture, to sculptures in museums. Her limited-edition collections contain intricately handcrafted jewellery, fashioned from recycled silver and gold, often adorned with precious and semi-precious stones. Her work explores the notion of female sensuality, resulting in pieces that are simultaneously timeless, luxurious, and easy to wear.
