Vlum

 Vlum is the brainchild of Dorine Decayeux. She considers jewellery a bridge between fashion, design and visual art. She has a passion for new technology and exploration of materials. This experimentation has resulted in the development of an original hand fabrication method; deriving volume from fine tresses of nylon thread. More sculptor than fashion designer, she conceives each piece with careful attention to volume, fall, balance and chromatic harmony. Each piece is handcrafted in her French atelier, with meticulous attention to the balance of strength and lightness.
