Meet the Portuguese designer, who lends her name to the jewellery brand Inês Telles. Handcrafted through traditional Portuguese jewellery processes in her workshop in Lisbon, the pieces made of silver and gold are created into carefully selected collections that give an exclusive sentiment for those who want to feel them.
A vast collection of nature’s elements and objects that Inês collects from her travels can be found in every corner of the workshop and are, together with the unique light of Lisbon, an inspiration for her jewellery creations. Her degree in Art History also presents as a source of inspiration as it relates to the collective memories of people and places such as their history and cultures.
The first time I met Inês and her business partner was at INHOGENTA Munich jewellery show. Although facing tough competition from some of the best independent jewellery designers in Europe, Inês's jewellery stood out from the crowd. The clean, neat and feminine pieces immediately caught my eye. I'm so pleased that we now have Inês Telles in our boutique and proud that we're the first and so far only stockist of this beautiful Portuguese brand in Scotland.
