Each piece of this haute couture embroidered jewellery is a hand sewn, labour intensive work of art and is created by Betsy Heilmann. Originally from Miami, now local in Edinburgh, Betsy has a background in fashion and finds inspiration in art, textiles and nature. Her love of colour and attention to detail is apparent in the art-to-wear you see on display. The pieces created are one of a kind or limited edition, using Swarovski crystals and crystal pearls with the occasional gemstone or glass bead. Each piece is backed with soft leather, making it comfortable against the skin, and is virtually weightless. |
